New PPC Campaign for the Falstaff Hotel – Desktop Version

Simply Clicks has recently set up a new Kent PPC campaign for the Falstaff¬†Hotel in Canterbury, Kent. The PPC activity is to publicise the launch of a new afternoon tea service for the Canterbury hotel. The Google Adwords campaign has two elements. Firstly a UK-wide campaign that features keyword terms that included Canterbury afternoon and cream tea terms. And a more local, radius targeted campaign that uses more generic searches and searches such as “afternoon tea near me”.

The launch of the new afternoon tea service coincides with the refurbishment and remodelling of the hotels bar. See the above picture. The hotel is located close to the historic Westgate Towers and a short walk from Canterbury West station.

The afternoon tea service is available at different budget levels. Prices below are shown per person:

The hotel is more than 600 years old. So digital marketing is rather new. The hotel is shortly to have a new website. The current website is not website enabled. And the afternoon tea market lends itself to searches on the move.  The good news is that average cost per click from mobile devices are currently costing just 44% of the desktop variety.
