Disqus Comment System | Preventing Comment Spam

Disqus Comment System Now Installed

We have installed the Disqus comment system on the Simply Clicks blog. A key advantage of the system is that it runs via Javascript and as such does not register on Google any comment spam that gets through our manual or automated filters. Comment spam is becoming an increasing problem since the Google Panda update as many of the losers from the update look to piggy back on more credible websites. A potential downside is the additional download time a new plugin file may cause. I will review any performance issues.
